A Clinical review of 45 cases of cases of Pelviscopic Salpingectomy

|
It is already known that laparoscopic procedure results in less morbidity, risk and complication than laparotomy when an ectopic pregnancy is diagnosed. Subsequent pregnancy rate compare favorable with rates for laparotomy.
This ia s clinical report to confirm the benefits of laparoscopic salpingectomy. Ninety cases of ectopic tubal pregnancy which underwent operative treatment : 45 by pelviscopic salpingectomy and 45 by laparotomy.
We confirmed again that pelviscopic salpingectomy patients experienced a very short hospital stay(2.2 days), less morbidity and rapid recovery. The subsequent pregnancy rate was 65.2% The repeat ectopic pregnancy rate was 4.3%.
